What color for my Rock Lobster?

I am getting my Rock Lobster aluminum road frame re-powdercoated. As it sits: don't care for the white.

Need some help narrowing down my color selection! The carbon fork will either be natural black or sprayed to match, depending on how easily the painter can match the powder tone. I think I want to get the modern truncated/cropped decals as seen here, or maybe just a headtube logo. Thought about a Ferrari red or loud orange, but all of my other bikes are pretty flashy/bright, so I want something more subdued for this build.

Build will be either Shimano DA9000/Ultegra 6800 mix or full 6800. Black cockpit.

Never trust a computer monitor, but maybe PSS-1715 (or Playboy Blue "ugh!" according to Prismatic Powders)? PSB-6963 Chase Blue may be closer.

My old Lemond was partially Playboy blue. A nice shade! But I'd want something deeper for this project.

That grey one is nice! ;) I prefer the new logos and have really enjoyed this color, it is pretty subdued and looks great with black tape and dura ace 9100

the dark metallic grey on this Cherubim is really nice...goes well with black as well as most any secondary colors (blue, pink, red etc) if you considering a colored headset, hubset etc...

Personally, I think silver (the primary color on the Cherubim) doesn't look good on bike frames

There are many suggesting blue, a couple yellow, even a few army green...mixed with silver...then YOU need to ask your self “what color do I like?” and when you look at your bike will you say “Damn, I love my bike!!”

My vote and I’m not generally a yellow fan...I kinda like a gum drop yellow with a hint of orange crush for your frame ...see pic below

I'm a big fan of most kinds of blues and greens on bikes. My favorite is possibly the turquoise color that Yeti uses, which has seemingly different hues under certain lighting conditions. Looks pretty nice on the limited Yeti edition OPEN UP:

This made me laugh thinking about sending this image to a painter as a creative brief. How fun and novel. Like the colors too. And also looks so cheery.

Also really like that bike from 93k and the gradations of green and blue and the various flavors of the ocean.

I think this deep navy color would look good with the yellow block decals like on FlashUNC's bike. However, as good as seafoam looks in pics, it's even better in person.

I vote seafoam, though... modern logos, interesting contrast color, maybe not far removed from the color family of the seafoam... The Cielo is wet paint of their own mix, but is a pretty similar color to the Lemond I posted earlier that uses the powder I named.

For logos, I've been thinking about these - inverted colors of the standard decal set.

Azul Blue is the name Cielo used for that color. I do love how it looks different in different light. Makes it hard to photograph and say “this is it”.

Color choice is the most difficult part of the process for me to decided on. When I ordered it I wanted red. Then I called Cielo and changed to Orange. Finally I called one more time and changed to Azul Blue. Turned out to be the day the bike was due to get painted.
