Up for sale is my treasured Masi 3V Volumetrica built in the USA by Russ Denny. This was built circa 2005 when the owner of the California Masi brand decided to have established builders who had previously worked with Masi build some 3V frames using the original lugs and BB. Only 25 frames were built. This is the nicest bike I have ever owned. It handles incredibly and is wonderful on long rides. My daughter has a study abroad opportunity so I need to make it happen.
Frame: Russ Denny Masi 3V, 60cm with a 58.5 TT. Dedacciai oversized tubing, pantographed internal lugs and flat fork crown, Henry James dropouts, fits 28c tires, Campy Record headset.
Drivetrain: Campy Record 11 shifters, cranks and rear der. Front der is Chorus because I'm not a fan of the carbon outer plate.
Wheels: DT 240r/350f with Sapim DB spokes 32/32, Kinlin XC279 rims, new Vittoria Corsa G 28c tires with another set of older 25 Corsas included. Dura Ace skewers, Campy 12/25 cassette
Cockpit: Prologo Scratch saddle with Syntace carbon post, Ritchey Neoclassic bars in 44, 3T stem (-17, 130 but I can change)
Pedals: Speedplay "track" in stainless. Will include used but operable cleats and a bunch of spares
Brakes: Campy Record 10 in black. I spec'd these because they are stiffer than the skeletons
King stainless cages
Silca frame pump with Campy metal head
$1750 net to me plus 1/2 of CONUS shipping cost.
I will add more newer photos this afternoon.

Here is a link to the original Masiguy blog post detailing their manufacture: (http://masiguy.blogspot.com/2006/05/place-your-order-now-masi-3v-steel.html)

I was going to say "Nooooo!" because this is a really nice bike and from your past posts I know how much you love it, but this is a higher calling.

Good dad work by you. ::beer::

Oh, also, I can't see your pictures.

See if the link I added works. I have SO much trouble linking to Google photos.

My daughter is going to be the first person on Mars.

Added some new photos to the album.
OK... Obligatory wall lean shot, and it needs cleaned.... But it's still a beautiful bike.

Dang man - it is so nice. I respect the heck outta you for doing this tho. Too bad there’s not a way to offer your bike as collateral for a loan or something. If I had it, I’d offer that to you.

Best luck mate

I owned one of these framesets awhile back, in a smaller size, NOS. Sold it as I decided a 55 wasn't quite right for me.

Beautiful from every angle. Truly a joy to look at.

And it sounds like it rides as well as it looks.

Beautiful bike. Its a shame that its a centimeter to big on both directions or I would be sending you my tax money...
