What happened to Geekhouse?

During Land Run 100, I had to walk up the steepest hill on the course. I was pushing my Mudville, and as a rider passed me he said "hey man, awesome bike! Too bad they're not around anymore!"

This was news to me, and just compounded my negative feelings towards walking that stupid hill.

I did some quick Google searching, but couldn't find any news about them closing. So, does anyone know what happened to Geekhouse?

I think the proprietor (Marty?) decided to move on. Maybe he works for Boston Dynamics? (Who are making the robots that will replace us all someday.)
