I've had my eye open for a Neo Primato for years and have never come across one. Anyone have one they'd like to move along?

I've been looking for one in a 57cm and found this one:

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F12 3667147137

It's a little out of my budget. So I figured I'd pass it on.

Just curious: why the interest in a Neo vs the standard Primato with the EL-OS tubing?

redearedslider5

oh i have a few bikes with sl and slx and a few with the newer tubings like neuron, brain etc. i've generally found i like the newer ones a bit better, hence my interest in the neo. that said, i've never ridden an el-os and i've always wanted to so a primato wouldn't be out of the question :)

It is one sweet ride!

well what i assumed must be true. they're uncommon to begin with and those who have them would never part with them!

Not a bargain, but probably a fair price given its very good condition.

But here's a different viewpoint... from 'jerk' aka Craig Gaulzetti, as posted across the hall a few yrs ago about a similar vintage bike:
why do you want a bike from the early nineties? seriously...if it's for nostalgia great- but a genius tubed road bike is old, stupid, heavy, noodly and not worth putting parts on unless the frame is free and the parts are free. buy a current bike.

FWIW I ride a '57'... that's measured from center-to-top in the traditional way, so it fits like a 56.

Agree.

But those flamingo tattoos are a little unusual, at least in this area.
