It's been like 5 minutes since our last discussion around Disk Brakes.
That's too long.
So I been riding my very cheap Avid HS1 rotors for about eternity now.
Last weekend we went on tour in Bohemia. It was rainy, it was off road, it was a mess of water and sand and loads of queeching (TM).
That got me thinking that motocross disks are designed differently than road motorcycles. I see that the cycling industry needs to reinvent everything again if at all possible which means that we may be riding sub-optimal rotors.
Does anyone have any recommendations for rotors that will work exceptionally well for offload-wet adventures? Mountain Bikes must have solved that problem already no?
