Q36.5 size for big guys

So Im about 5'11 250 and broad not necessarily fat just broad I usually wear an Xl in Patagonia stuff and an XL in shutt velo merino wool, but wool stretches.
So I like the Q36.5 new jerseys would I need a 2X or just a regular XL? Thanks I appreciate YA!

I feel like the only people that do big guy sizes well are assos and pearl izumi. YMMV...

XXL would be my guess. Fit like Rapha pro. The fabrics for jerseys are pretty stretchy and the way they cut them there's a fair amount of space through the shoulders and chest; they stretch but are form fitting; there's no extra fabric on the L1 cut; the R1 cut is slightly more roomy.

For comparison, I wear a 44" US jacket size, 6'3" 210-225 depending on time of year and life events and I use the XXL. They'll go on at any weight in that range; they look better at the lower range!
