Black.......unless that Spec turbo cotton supposedly super duper tire is not available in all black and you really want that tire.

I'm a die-hard tan sidewall guy. However, the black is pretty good on this overall color palette.

I'll have tan-walled Vlaanderens on the Boras going on my in-process Alliance allroad with dark label graphics. Looks like you found a way to remove the graphics from yours. Fortunately the G3 lacing still tells the story:)

I'm running tan on mine.
And are there pics somewhere????

Both look good, but I'd go tan.

i love me my tan sidewalls on my bikes but the black is the business.

i think i would prefer tan if it was a different shade of tan like the Corsa G+ :hello:

I'd go with Black if it were my horse.

Frame really pops with the black. Great looking bike either way!

Black. It really brings out the frame as a center piece.

Black. Hands down. If the bike were a different color, then the tan sidewalls would be great.

I would say black. Me thinks that tan looks more better on a classic style rim.
I like all black with a black deeper rim.Looks more sleek.

Either way, I'd get a black seatmast topper if possible.

you can only determine that when the bike is in full flight and you watch the bystanders reactions...whichever cause their jaws to drop, that's the color you pick.

I think both look great, but the black is bit better on this particular build.

Aren't tan wall tires on a clincher bike kind of poseur?

I had a fleeting thought about that when I first saw the bike, then focused on tires. I agree with a black topper complementing the overall look better.

Big THX guys for all of your input !

Well, Black leads this race by a 3 to 1 vote so far.

The Tan walls show here are Veloflex Vlaanderen and pretty amazing also

Got a pix you can post ?

The seatmast topper is something new I am trying, I thought of adding a silver stem to match it. I will likely ether paint the seatmast topper black or paint the seatmast topper and the stem to match the frame.

I dont really know, maybe ask someone who rides clinchers, as its all Tubular all the time over here. :)

Black. It’s too loud with the tan. Eyes should be on that frame, not the wheels imo.

Tan = bicycle

Black = "Tronish" vehicle

The tan draws my eyes to the frame. But you can't really go wrong either way on that marque.

:beer: for the Vlaanderens
:beer::beer: for all tubular all the time

And the more I look, the more I'm a tanwall vote. I would go black topper and keep the black stem. I think adding silver complicates things.

As someone who only has tubulars and has black sidewalls on all of them, I'd say you're safe either way. Just makin' sure it's being Kept Real.

The great thing about tires is that they wear out so you can change to the proper ones when you come to your senses :banana:

Maybe I will put the proper (tan wall I take that as) tires on my 7 622 ?
