Not carbone Fiber but the real fiber , its good for you but we never get enough of it. I drink the stuff seeing I have a history of colon cancer in my family. Metamucil is what I drink , gotten used to the stuff and would drink more of it if I could keep it from conglomerating. So whats your Fiber secret ?

Pretty simple if you know what to eat. Good info here: http://www.gicare.com/pated/edtgs01.htm and here: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/fiber/NU00033

As much of the natural stuff as I can, plus psyllium husks from whole foods. No sugar, no additives, just raw husks. I take two table spoons a night with a full cup of water. It takes a little getting used to, but once you become accustomed to the consistency, not so bad at all.

I prefer the natural husks to the ground up stuff like Metamucil, both because of the consistency and the pureness.

Try their #1 and #2....

Oh yeah, the # 2 will make you go _________ (fill in blank).

Expensive, but very effective.

Good luck,

Steve

Can't be beat! Eat a few after dinner almost every night. Dried figs and prunes are yummy, too.

Lots and lots o' veggies. I laugh at the government suggested helpings, as we usually eat far more of fruits and vegetables than is recommended.

Switch to a vegetarian diet (or better yet VEGAN) and you'll never have anymore worries in that department :butt:

Balsa wood.

Kidding.

Golden Flax seed in a clean coffee mill over anything.

Whole grain cereals and bread. And prunes. Seriously - They're yummy and good for you, too.

...I should eat more veggies, though.

the right kind 'o bread.

Costco is now selling a whole wheat loaf that has a whopping 5 grams of fibre per slice. Will help keep you clean....

also think about one of those killer blenders (vitamix etc...) You can blend anything - Puree of firewood anyone? Seriously - they will beat the crap out of sh*t and make it liquid - Yummmy:)

I am fiber deficient and have been taking Fibre Choice tablets twice a day which gives you an additional 4 grams. Comes in different flavors. :D

whole wheat donuts

If you can go to the donut shop and come away with a box of whole wheat donuts, there's something very wrong with you...

Dried apricots and prunes are a great source of fiber and regularity but watch the labels. Dole and a lot of other companys put potassium sorbate and sulfur dioxide on the fruit to preserve color and freshness. It may preserve the fruit but I don't think it works the same for you.
