Hydro brakes maintenance?

I have a bike with 17,000 miles that has Shimano DuraAce RS785 hydro brakes. I have changed the pads a few times but have never changed or even had to top-off the fluid. Is there something I should be doing or since it’s working fine don’t mess with it?

In my experience with shimano MTB brakes they will start to fade more quickly when the fluid needs to be replaced.
