I'll build this bike back up over the next weeks, but couldn't resist sharing a teaser of the paintwork. I laid everything out and my brother did the painting.

White single stage with green and dark silver base colors, gloss clear.

Thanks! This matches our team kits, so I figured I'd go with it. For the black transitions, I used a vinyl mask that I cut out on our machine at home. Definitely some lessons learned.

The parent company of Fuji and Performance declared bankruptcy in November. There is an auction for the companies and their assets; bids are due to the court on Friday and will be reviewed by the bankruptcy judge next week.

No one knows yet what will happen. Some of us are rather interested in the outcome.

Ooooooh. I totally forgot about that. I doubt the 2009 Team Carbon is gonna go onto any collectors Must-Have lists. LOLOL

That's definitely the plan. My only top steps have been TT's, but I have a few mass start Podiums from last year.
Top Step is my Top Goal for 2019.

Thanks! I really wanted to show the carbon somewhere without having any solid transitions.

Head badge, yah I'm gonna do something there but I can't decide. It'll prob be done in 1 or 2 color vinyl since I can already do that at home. I was thinking something like a samurai helmet, but don't want it to end up looking cheesy.

Looks great! The seat tube is a really nice touch. Just enough carbon to add detail without pulling your eyes directly to it

Acetone is amazing stuff...but careful, it will remove almost anything and not so great on your skin, eyes or nose.
