Use it or your front derailleur will be a bear to shift. Just bought a bike that had it set up wrong!

In my experience as a mechanic nearly half of the bikes that came in had the pin inserted correctly, nearly.

it came with the alignment tool but it appears the triple does not have the thingy to change the cable path nor the hole that enables changing the position of the thingy. I am getting that the 4700 series is weird in a bunch of ways. 11 speed cable pull ratio from the shifters...applied to 10 speed cassettes.

Trying flat bar again.
