On the way to work today I heard a couple clanks and had an old Vitus-y feeling for a sec. Hopped off the bike, didnt see anything, so I tried again.. same thing. Finally found it..

This was a Redline Conquest that I modified over the years; powder coat, flat bar conversion, 1x9 setup(installed a few months ago), discs. My primary commuter in the winter time.

Anyone have any leads on a replacement frame? upper-Large to XL sizes :banana:

Sorry to hear, glad it didn't cause any accident. Did you say you modify it to disc?

That's a common failure mode on Redline aluminum CX frames. Here's the same failure on a friend's bike a few months back.

Well when I got the bike it had cantis and tabs for disc so I "modified" it by buying all the stuff for disc :)

Check with a local welding shop... shouldn't be too difficult.
