Spending a few days around New Year's near the home of Alice's Restaurant, and open to recommended ~20- or 30-mile loops. Fam time, so can't be on the bike too long.

Look up the Josh Billings Runaground bike route.

It's a hilly point to point route, but you can easily make a loop. Pretty good roads, wide shoulder on the busy sections. Otherwise, you can ride up/down the hills of October Mtn. Most roads are rolling hills in that area.

If you can spare a bit more time, this loop is fun and fantastic. My want some wider tires due to some dirt on Mt. Riga, but I've done it (carefully) on 23s.

Sounds like the turnpike from Stockbridge to Boston is lovely with a mantle of snow.
