Poll: Ultrashift vs Droopy

I've used Power and Ultrashift. Definitely nice to be able to dump-shift with Ultra.
However the thumb lever position isn't ideal when in the drops and needs tweaking by way of different bar drops.
Wondering if the position of the droopy lever outweighs the benefits of Ultrashift.

droopy lever better than ultrashift but ultrashift feel better than droopy lever. I would pick ultrashift because I have no problems with how the lever is, that said, droopy is definitely more comfortable.

I doubt the geometry of the droopy would allow for the amount of displacement needed to dump.

Shimano is cheaper if you go single release route. I only use campy mechanical stuff because UltraShift :)

If you’re using Campagnolo mechanical and want the dog-ear buttons, then I guess you’re using Potenza shifters as I thing all other Campy mechanical shifters have the normal thumb button.

I have 2015+ Chorus & I have the droopy Veloce 2015+10 spd. which I absolutely love. I prefer the dog ear, it is smooth as Butter!!!!!

Never used the droopy, so I voted for Ultrashift - but now I feel like I need to go droopy just for the sake of science.

I have a bike with 2018 Centaur and another with 2016 Chorus. I actually prefer the shifting (both the feel and shifter placement) on the Centaur; Ultrashift doesn't really do anything for me.

You'll be amazed at how well it works I prefer it to my notchy Chorus!

Cuz with US, multiple higher gears at a time means need for further travel of thumb button..droopy can only do one 'click' at a time. But as mentioned..want multiple higher gear and droopy? EPS baby..

I've got those on a bike and they work fine. Feel fine. Mostly, you'll not notice that you can't swing the chain across the cassette in one throw. If you're used to Shimano you'll never notice that.

I prefer Ultra for the front and Power for the back, what's a guy to do :)

I find rapid-fire multiple rear shifts with Powershift are nearly as fast and a bit more precise than a big sweep with Ultrashift. But I like having the trim options for the front.
