There is a seller on ebay listing fake adamo saddles. They've even tried to cover the adamo branding in the photos, and have done a fairly poor job of it.

Do I report the listing to ebay? or report it to the adamo folks and let them handle it?

I've not run across such a blatant fake before, so not sure how to proceed.

Suggestions?

Listing is here (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bicycle-saddle-Split-nose-No-Pressure-Road-bike-Tri-MTB-TT-Ironman-4-MODELS/273194505542?hash=item3f9ba95546:m:mBEAAJoUI3svKLR 7J9jg_7A:sc:USPSFirstClass!42211!US!-1:rk:27:pf:0).

Agreed. The photos say otherwise - because if they really wanted to show them unbranded they would have done a better job of covering up the ism, adamo, and model information. It doesn't alter the fact that they are selling fake adamo saddles, and in more than one auction.

I would just let adamo know. It's their brand and their responsibility to protect it.

I am shocked to learn potential dishonesty resides on the internet.

That's what I decided to do. They've already replied that they will handle it.

More than a little disappointing, though.

that was pretty blatant. They should have fully covered the branding and let people make their own suppositions about it. People want to believe, even though reverse engineering is rampant

Haha. It seems like they're trying to invite a lawsuit.

The lack of completely covering the logos may have been deliberate, subtly hinting of the "brand name". That's marketing, albeit deceptive marketing.

Report back if the ad is pulled.

Just checked a few minutes ago, and the ebay auction has been nuked.
