I got tricked into watching The Creepy Line on Prime after it popped up first as a recommended title. I can't begin to speculate why they would suggest the documentary based on my limited viewing and shopping patterns. And, I'm a bit disappointed in my critical viewing skills in that it took me about 30 minutes to figure out that I'm on the other end of the target demographic. A few consequences of my experience:

I won't use google for a few days.
Paceline will become my personal search engine.

Actually, I'm just wondering if content providers can pay Amazon for placement or marketing.

Yup, when the stuff you were searching for on Chainreaction one minute is scrolling across the Facebook timeline the next minute, you know something is up.

QBP will become self-actualized in 2020, and parts will arrive at your doorstep before you even thought about it.

It's even worse when you search something on Amazon, on your laptop, and then it appears in an Instagram ad a few moments later.
