Funnel adapter for latest shimano road hydraulic disc brakes?

I went to bleed a set of the new Shimano R7000 disc brakes yesterday, and when I opened the bleed port on the lever, the shimano bleed pot/funnel thing thing wouldn't thread in. I assume that I need the linked funnel adapter, but it doesn't say specifically that this can be used with the 7000 series levers, and nobody at my shop knew. Has anyone used this thing on the levers, and if so can you confirm if this is the part I need?
