One of the few Ducatis I have lusted after.

I have raced/ridden many bikes. The Hawk is in boxes waiting for me to get off my hind end and put it back on the street. Was an endurance race bike, with an occasional sprint raced on it.

There are also three different dirt bikes for me and the kids to play on.
xr50 xr100 xr250

I've been contemplating putting street tires and a light kit on the 250 to putz around town on.

BMW R1200GS and Yamaha Road Star Warrior. The Yamaha's for sale if anyone's interested; I decided I'm not a cruiser guy.

I guy I work with has a mod'd Hayabusa and he likes to push it on this machine and sadly he lies in a trauma unit in a local hospital with a number of broken bones and a concussion. They operated on him to try and put the pieces back together and hopefully they were successful, but he has a long recovery ahead of him. It seems he pushed it a little too hard this weekend and lost it! So be careful on these other two-wheeled machines.

Wow...You guys have some nice bikes! I love the Ducs and the Norton.

I'm keeping an eye out for a good deal on an early 916. Until then, I'll putter around on my old, classic Hawk GT. Its all original and has less than 5000 miles on the odometer. These bikes have become a bit of a cult classic over the years.

I love the smell of pre-mix in the morning... been burning some left over oil in the chainsaw.

The yamaha RZ350 was my first race bike. Fun bike

the little blue 125 had an 80cc Suzuki engine in it, it was raced mainly endurance, but did see sprint action.

The green bike was my '95 RS125. This is the only pic i have of it. Still think about purchasing another 125 for track days. Awesome bikes.

sorry for taking up the bandwidth... I love these racebikes

BMW R1100R- it's nekkid and it's all 'round fun--paved roads, dirt roads don' make no never-mind. Ohlins Shocks front and rear helped a lot. Probably worth the $1500 they cost.

I did not realise that there are a bunch of us M/C rider here. Love that 916 and that Norton, very cool. I'm always afraid about the Hayabusa, it look so fast.

I rode a KZ1000 for a while ... right up until the wife was pregnant with our first kid. She ... er, convinced me that I didn't need it.

So one summer, a few years before that, I was working out in Berkeley and I had the bike out there. The wife -- then girlfriend -- was in SF for work, ensconsed in a luxury hotel, and I joined her and, among other things, we traipsed about the city. In an art gallery, I overheard the owner/curator/director/dude talking cycles and Laguna Seca. So I inquired about his rides, etc. When he heard I rode an old KZ1000 his eyes lit up and, grinning, in a booming voice, he exclaimed, "THE KID-KILLER."

She remembered. What was I gonna do? Argue that it was safe?

I had a KTM 640 Adventure, but I sold it to a friend after moving to NYC. :( Now he sends me pictures of it!

I don't miss having a car, but man do i miss having a bike! Think I might have to get a Stella just to stop the jonesing. Or a 950 Supermoto.
