Colnago Master AD

I'm going to order a new Colnago Master X Light, can't decide which color I want. I'm favoring blue -> red -> black all AD not the solid colors. Guys please help me decide.

Blue, always pick blue. My AD10 dream in blue always gets compliments, the black c40 only if they know the brand.

I just looked at the Colnago website. Are they really only supplying the Master in AD4 Black, AD10 Blue, and AD11 Red now, and that's all?

Too bad, if so…no more AD14 Yellow, Saronni Red, Mapei, PR99 White or Zabel Blue?

I really liked those last three, especially the PR99 and PRZA, much more than any of the AD schemes, but if the choices are really limited only to those three, I suppose my choice would be:
1) AD10 Blue
2) AD4 Black (but I think Colnago black is really more elegant in the pure PR00 than in AD)
3) some other one, NOS or mint, rather than AD11 Red…just not my cup of tea.

Its available in quite a few nice paint options. Custom options n sizing to.

I chose PRMO Molteni for my Master Light. Perhaps the factory would paint your new bike how you want it done (for a cost)?

AD10. I'd actually probably send one out to get Mapei...

I ordered an Oval Master in 2000 and had my choice of any livery in the catalog or archives. I picked the then-current Mapei (AD21) and liked it, but always wished I'd gone Yellow (AD14/Casino), Red (AD11) or Rabobank (AD23). Had an AD10 (Blue) C-40 later that was beautiful, but the blue on the MXL is almost common. Almost.

Then again, most of my riding buddies will tell you that my taste in bike aesthetics is, well, unique.

They still make all these colors but you have to specially request, with no additional cost, even stuff like traditional cable stop mount vs barrel adjuster mount can be requested. After looking into Mapei a little more I'm starting to like it alot! I'm not a big fan of any of the solid colors including molteni tho.
