Paceline Campy experts I need help.

The paddle for up shifting was getting stuck so I took my shifter off. I noticed the bolt holding the disc shaped cover was not tight. I managed to pop the spring off and can’t get it back in. Do I need a special tool? The Campy video for 10 speed shows a bolt that can be turned with a flathead to tension the spring. Looks like they did away with that bolt for 11? What to do?

Thanks in advance.

that coil outside goes attached to the lever and the internal goes attached to the white piece, you have to turn that half a turn or so, you can use a hook.

I tried that but it seems to need a lot of tension to go all the way around. I also tried moving the wheel to different positions. I might just need to send this in to an expert.

Put the bolt back in, shift all the way 'up' as if in big chainring(take the most tesnion off the spring)..the u shaped end goes in the u shaped slot in body..hold the spring flat and use a thin screw driver to push the spring end into the slot, push down with fingers..take bolt out, put plate on(the spring will stay)..blue loctite on bolt. Can be vexing...If ya can't get it, send it to me..and I'l check the front bolt also.
