Do I need a New Hand Pump

For mountain biking, does anyone prefer a high volume hand pump over something standard such as a Silca pocket pump? Would it be $40 well spent or superfluous? I've wasted money on worse.

Only really looked at the Lezyne options as well, but welcome any suggestions of other brands that make a good product.

Yesterday, I flatted at 4:40 am, then tweaked my back pretty badly while pumping. Going to invest in that highfalutin' CO2 technology to save my back.
