Hello everyone. I'd like to hear feedback from folks who own a wood frame bike and and share with us your comments on how ride compares to a carbon frame.

All I know of are the bamboo bikes.

I assumed Renovo, though I see they went belly up.

they had a store up in Sausalito in like 2010/2011, i rode a couple of their bikes, super nice, beautiful bikes, but im not sure they are worth the price

Laminated or solid wood is what I'm thinking of. Examples would be stuff from Sojourn, Montauk, Cio, Renovo, etc.

this would suggest that there were some serious problems at Renovo beyond being behind on delivery. yikes.

It is but google Ken Wheeler Renovo and you just might find a webpage I found where a certain wealthy admirer of the product invested in the company's future success. People spew venom outta spite often times then again like a buddy told me a long time ago the truth is somewhere in between.

Ouch that hurts. Looks like we don't have many folks out there with wood frames to comment on. Oh well.
