I've got some 28h Pacenti Brevit rims in 700c and happen to have a pair of 28h 7700 hubs as well, so am thinking of building a wheelset for a 185lb friend who would be doing only on-road recreational riding.

I haven't built with these ~500g rims before, and am wondering if 28 spokes will be sufficient for the rear wheel(?).

Suggestions and opinions on this conundrum would be appreciated!

500g? Website says 455+-15g but Sure, no issue or problem..lace the rear 3 cross..front 2 cross..don't use skinny spokes..build well..

Will do, I'll go up near 120kg and DB14's, 3x all around unless my spoke inventory supports 2x.

Thanks for the input!
