What's the latest? Conti 4-Season still the benchmark? Vittoria Rubino Pro Control? Panaracer GravelKing?

Soma Vitessse EX in 33 (if the fit) but 28's will suffice. Best all around tires on any surface I've ever used. I use them in Petaluma,CA on some onary roads as I go from asphalt to dirt, wet or dry.

I rode Gatorskins for a while. When I stopped I realized I was riding on the least supple tire in the universe. I'm back to using GP4000s year-round and just replacing them as needed.

I've got a set of Gravel King Slicks 700x32 on one bike that work pretty well.

Vittoria doesn't make the Pave anymore.

Definitely considering this as an option.

When I was running narrower rubber, I didn't mind the 700x25 4-Season. The 700x32 version felt really slow/heavy for some reason, so I sold those.

I ride Challenge Strada Bianca 30mm tires, They are technically a gravel tire, but only have a very fine tread pattern, they are excellent on tarmac, giving away very little performance to my Vittoria Corsa G+ tires, and they feel pretty solid in the wet, I have taken them off road on gravel tracks and they have a surprising level of grip

The GK slicks are all right, the soma vitesse ex blow them out of the water, don't be taken back by the label "soma" these are supple, think compass.
I'm telling you guys, you don't know what you are missing.

the somas are also panaracer products. i tried them once and found them to be very similar to gravel kings and compass offerings. the tread pattern is cool too, but they are harder to find. where do you get yours?

Schwalbe Marathon Supreme...we're using the 28, 32, and 35 in the house...they're great tires.

This is the best price I could find. https://www.treefortbikes.com/Soma-Fabrications-Supple-Vitesse-EX-700c-Tire?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&adpos=1o3&scid=scplp3332224110842024561&sc_intid=3332224110842024561&gclid=CjwKCAjwjIHeBRAnEiwAhYT2h5IbMztpPt8-DMVc37iXOtk1C88lARvRjU7-d5gvtab1lImQT-JVDhoCKiwQAvD_BwE I find them to be more supple than my GK file tread tires.

I’d second this.

Recently picked up a pair of the Soma Vitesse EX in the 33 mm size; haven’t put on enough miles to give a good assessment but I really like ‘em so far. They do measure out a bit narrower than ‘33 mm’, very similar in width to the 30 mm Strada Biancas.
