Giro Code VR70 + XT Pedals = Squeak!

Does anyone else who rides this combo suffer the same audible nightmare?

Is there a fix? I'm considering sanding the carbon section of the sole.

Driving me batty.

I've tried spray silicone and it does work but is GD slippery! It just comes back eventually though.

i got rid of the squeak on my sworks/xtr combo by greasing the cleat screws and putting a few drops of triflow on the pedal springs.

I have same combination of giro+xt and it squeaks.
Triflo on contact points on pedal and shoes.
Noise goes away for a few rides.

I do clean my pedals regularly with WD-40.

Thanks all.

I did hit the springs with Triflow and things are def. quieter. I still feel like I am getting a slight friction squeak at the interface but I didn't rade so far today.

I used to lube pedals all the time back when I did a lot of mountain biking....not so much these days.
