That track is so fast. An "old guy" (40+) did a 10.06s flying 200m during the same record attempt session.

Can't answer that question however the link is to a recent Colby Pearce podcast talking about some of the technical issues associated with an hour record, quite interesting.

The article references Vittoria Pista Speed tires, which come only in 19mm, I think.
