I’ve recently bought a set of Paul Components Mini Moto brakes. Can someone recommend a set of pad holders I could use with them.

I have a pair of Mavic Open SUP ceramic wheels I’d like to use and prefer the Koolstop green ceramic pads. Would the koolstop V-brake pad holder work with these mini moto’s?

Thanks in advance

Short answer, I think so based on some googling but hopefully someone else will chime in.

I run the Kool Stop Cross pads (http://www.koolstop.com/english/crosspad.html)on my Mini Motos (as well as Racer Ms), they take the Dura (http://www.koolstop.com/english/dura_type.html) and Dura 2 (http://www.koolstop.com/english/dura2.html) inserts.

Yup I use the Kool Stop thinlines that came with mine. I was a little apprehensive at first if they would be that good. But they replaced an older set of Campy euclid cantis on my cross bike and they work great with road levers. In fact the more I use them and fine tune them I realize these are fantastic brakes. In fact just for kicks I put my Hyperon tubulars on and switched pads and holders with Kool Stop carbon rim friendly pads and they still had very good stopping power in the dry and better then average in the wet.
My suggestion would be to use Kool Stop pads and if you are not sure which ones to use call up Kool Stop, they have great customer service. We talked for probably 15 minutes while we figured out what type riding and conditions I would be riding in, very helpful.
Have a great day
