Did I miss a thread? No one talking about this? Come on gang, this was monumental. Such a great race!

Yeah I can’t remember the title of the thread now either...
It’s cool the technical riding paid off!

Oh, we love her! A beautiful, American, Stanford woman winning the MTB CC Worlds in her first attempt as an Elite rider. What's not to love?

This ought to morph into the Rapha thread..RedBull..amazing company and primarily marketing..they have the $ to sponsor everything from bike races to F1 to air races to a guy jumping off a balloon at 126,ooo feet..ever drink the stuff? It's gross..

It’s gross, yet every guy I work with under the age of 30 has a minimum of 2/day and thinks I’m the weird old guy who is surgically attached to his coffee mug before 10:00am

thanks for sharing that

i thought Eurosport would have it; instead they had only the downhill races

as someone just getting into XC, this looks daunting and fun

The xc course was more technical than I thought it would be. I haven't really followed mtb racing in a while but things have changed. Good to see some US riders doing well.

It would have been a much more interesting race if VDP had a better start. I'm surprised he let himself get swarmed at the start. Nino seemed to just be toying with Kerschbaumer.

that's how technical most race courses are here on the East Coast

i really wish there'd be more beginner friendly parcours, as opposed to endless sections of roots and rocks
