ot: gmail on android phone re: sent mail folder

Had been using yahoo mail forever. Just switched over to gmail. On the desktop version on Chrome the items in the sent folder show the recipient of the email you sent. On the android version on my phone, in the sent folder, you have to open each message to see who you sent it to. Why would it not show you in the the listing the name of the recipient? Maybe there's a setting to make this happen?

Also, it automatically shows the subject line and full thread from the folder. That not enough?
