Other people's bikes that you saw out in the wild...

We have posted pictures of exotic cars we see out in the wild, why not bikes?

To be sure, it doesn't exactly have to be "exotic", it just need to speak to you.

I saw this locked outside yesterday at the library. I like it.

This one was seen quite a while ago outside the bike shelter where I parked my commuter bike overnight. It was soaking wet from the rain.

I rode through the state college in town the other day to spot a bright orange 70's schwinn paramount with all the period campy goodness, chrome nervex lugs and a nicely patina leather unicanitor. I should have taken a picture but I thought it would be weird to stop at a locked bike to snap a photo.

The first time I saw a Peg in the wild, I spent several minutes walking around it and gawking. The owner popped out of a nearby building convinced I was getting ready to steal it :eek:. I had to explain that I was a bike geek and had never seen a Peg except in photos. Once his blood pressure dropped, we had a laugh and he extolled the virtues of his bike.

Best I have ever seen and no pics - a Cunningham riding on the street. I'm sure the owner would never lock it up.

My brodie and dekerf frequently get comments when I am out.

I saw my first Calletti (steel) today, but didn't take any pictures. It's the first Calleti I've seen in person and I think I've only previously looked at pictures of the titanium ones. I get to see Gaulzettis every time I ride by Summer Cycles, but I don't think it counts if they are at the shop.
