Good luck pedaling that thing up even a 1% grade.
I say no half-measures - either an MTB if you want to pedal or a KTM / Honda Africa Twin / BMW GS (KLR if you're cheap) if you don't want to pedal.

That thing looks to be so labor intensive, it would be out of commission a week after the apocalypse.
Consider gas consumption. And, it is faster than the Zombies.

From what I've seen in the movies, a Big Wheel is faster than the zombies.
(well, maybe not these, but the kind the kids ride)

I prefer vintage tandems. I could also post this in that "whats the etiquette when strangers paceline" thread

It looks like it would need to be ridden BMX style, too. Seat to pedal distance is super short. I don't think I would fit with my 36" inseam.

Agreed. That was my concern. Maybe a longer seatpost.

No kidding, why even bother with pedals..just put foot pegs and maybe a bigger gas tank..but when the SHTF...most are gonna be on a bike or on foot or a horse.....

I personally wouldn't settle for anything less than a Rokon

Not sure the Rokon will outrun the zombies

Just saw this will air tonight on Discovery, for those interested in the bike posted by the O.P. This one is electric model, I think.
