We are pretty excited about having a race of this caliber come to Austin. The city has been very supportive and the course the promoters have laid out will make for an awesome race. It makes a 9.5 mile loop from downtown, out to the neighborhoods just west of the city, back near campus, and finishing just down from the capitol.
So, if you love 95 degree temps and bike racing, look me up on June 17th. And bring your sunscreen.

aLexis,
Great to hear you guys are fired up for this event. I am actually working on bringing sponsorship to this event so if you are aware of any companies who'd like to become involved, let me know. i will also be involved with the Health and Fitness expo, so that is another avenue to become involved. You can reach me at dceppi@onebrainmarketing.com.
We are extremely excited to bring this event to Texas and know it will be a resounding success!
