Until now I had no idea he co-wrote Incense and Peppermints (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incense_and_Peppermints_(song)). That was one of my favorite songs of the 60s.

"If I Leave Here Tomorrow" is a recently released documentary detailing the history of Lynyrd Skynyrd. It includes interviews with Ed King and talks about his role in the band.

I had no idea he was in the Alarm Clock either. The hippie of the group. He wrote Saturday Night Special too, makes sense. Even as a Connecticut Yankee I always liked Skynard.
