Jetta TD! 2009 thru 2015 Reviews
The majority of the reviews I read are very negative.
My wife's 2003 Jetta SW TDI Manual made in Germany has450k miles and going strong
No internal engine work
Except timing belts
Yes new clutch's, one oil pump, and other items
So when I look at Jetta TD! 2009 thru 2015 listed for sale many have low miles below 75,000 but reading the reviews on Edmunds.com I always decide best to look at other makes
Any input from this group

Our 2009 manual Jetta wagon TDI was awesome while we owned it- lots of drives between NJ/VA and Chicago, and city driving in the latter.

Only let it go because we got a ridiculous buyback offer due to the diesel debacle- swapped it out almost even money for a new Golf wagon, though sadly not diesel nor stick. The automatic was my wife's decision as it's her commuter and she drives in the traffic hellscape that is Northern Virginia.

That said, I owned a 2000 Golf before that and believe that VW's tend to get electrical and/or expensive gremlins more frequently than Japanese cars and luxury Euro makers once you get beyond 100K.

I sold back my 2012, 6-speed just shy of 150k, for ridiculous $$.

Best car I have ever owned...thinking about getting another one now that they are flooding a local dealers lot. The warranty they come with seems pretty incredible.
