Anyone have any experience with the SRAM R9 cassettes? I run Dura-Ace on my bike, but I don't want to spend $75 for a cassette. The SRAM is about the same weight as Ultegra but a few bucks cheaper. If anyone has any experience with them, good or bad, I appreciate hearing about it.

Thanks,

I've run an R9 cassette for the last month with no problems, maybe 500 miles. I think durability is the only deciding factor on cassettes, and I haven't had it long enough to comment on that. But its pretty light, nice and shiny, and shifts great. I use a sram chain too, I hate the Shimano replaceable pins. The only weird thing about it is the orange plastic spacer rings between the cogs.

I've run an R9 for a year and the neighbor down the street is still running it. It's a fine shifting cassette. Got to admit I was a little leary of the plastic spacers but after a couple years of use they are fine.

I'd recommend them, especially for the money.
