I didnt watch much of the tour this year. Very little actually.

Is anyone aware of a good recap of the entire race all in one place, either print or video?

Just curious to read through or watch some of the highlights of this year?

Here's all you need to know:

Sky stifling the Peloton everyday, very little real racing. boring as all heck!

There, that pretty much sums it up.

same here, only watched the end of a stage or two and some highlights. Is it over?

Long live the Giro!

If you watch those 3, 4 minutes recaps of each stage on YouTube, you'll get pretty much everything you need.

Here's a good comprehensive recap, you can use to guide your youtube searches. Don't let the haters deter you. There was plenty of good stuff to enjoy:

Angry pal, you can also try http://www.steephill.tv/tour-de-france/

They have highlights on every stage.

I have always enjoyed watching the tour and listening to Phil, but this year I got my coverage through nbc gold so the commentators are different, still good though.

Thomas won.
Froome got a pass.
Sky has the award for the ugliest jerseys.
GVA.
The Cobbles.
Alaphilippe and Roglic's descending skills.
Phil and Paul on mute.

Did you write that before or after you watched the tour or does that matter?

Even on the stages Sky won, that didn't happen this year. High tempo paceline on Huez but there was a ton of racing.

about the only shocking thing about the race was when the entire 7-man sky train took bundles of plastic straws out of their jersey pockets and threw them over the edge of the Tourmalet.

Okay, nothing shocking happened.

Sometimes I see the whining about the tour coverage and remember in the '70s when most of us got our tour fix when the velonews showed up in the mail. Couple of pages of coverage. Some people subscribed to British cycling weeklies and got better coverage, usually a week late. Of course, the English was nearly incomprehensible.

This is pretty good, it's editorial.
