I imagine some of you are on the OPEN mailing list.

thought this was a pretty cool article. at first i was only mildly impressed at some of the 4000+ climbs these guys recorded, until i realized they were talking meters, not feet. Some impressive work, and what looks like great gravel to ride down south.

Anyone here ride in South America?

Just awesome. What a place to be, and multiple passes over 4000m! That high point of almost 5k must be tough on the breathing. What must the descending be like?

yea, i'm thinking if you're a sea-level dweller, you're hurting pretty bad at 12k feet!
