Is there such a thing as a shim ring that you could fit under your crown race in order to put more space between the fork crow and the head tube? I swapped forks on my Ritchey and now there's very little gap. You can barely fit a sheet of paper. I went through 4 crown races before I got one that fit the diameter of the lower head tube, so a thicker crown race might be hard to find.

I recently dissembled a vintage bike and found a shim under the crown race -- it was a piece of aluminum (probably alu can) that went about 3/4 of the way around. FWIW

If it's a Chris King headset, you can get a taller crown race. You can get a +5mm baseplate as the call it in 1" and 1 1/8" sizes:

If it's not a King headset, I'm not sure.

There is a Cane Creek +3mm race that is sold by Salsa for their fatbikes to allow suspension fork clearance to the downtube. It’s 1-1/2” though.

What is the steerer diameter on your Ritchey?

Look for a BB30 bottom bracket spindle shim / spacer. They come in loads of thicknesses from as little at 0.5mm. Slide it on underneath the crown race, mount as usual, bobs yer uncle.
