And Taylor Phinney finished 10th!

Still a pretty interesting finish to watch but Sagan just always seems to time it just right and use just enough.

The slow mo is cool where you can see the rear wheel moving back and forth with the pedal strokes.

Until this year he always came in second. After all those green jersey wins it's nice to see him winning stages.(even though all his real competition went home);)

He had eight stage wins before this season.

"Cycling is a simple sport. You ride a bike for 200 km and at the end, Peter Sagan always wins." - quote source (https://www.reddit.com/r/peloton/comments/90gy9g/results_thread_2018_tour_de_france_stage_13_2uwt/e2q9d7u/)

He had eight stage wins before this season.Plus he now has 30 2nd and 3rd place finishes. It's a hell of a record.

That was a hell of a bike throw.

Its a stage race. He hauled is *ss over the Alps; his so-called "real competition" didn't have the legs.

"The past three days weren’t easy and too hard for me. I knew that this would be another tough day in the saddle. I could only hope the peloton would ride up the first climb rather slowly, but that wasn’t the case. Soon, I felt this would be the end of the Tour for me. Others might choose to hold on to the team car, but if I can’t arrive at the finish on my own, I rather go home. I’m not sad; I’m a realist and a fair sportsman."

FWIW, i think people reported that Cav came in at the end of stage 11 without skitching or drafting, despite coming in an hour behind. Hats off to that attitude for both men.
