What's your opinion? I started riding some more technical stuff recently and it kinda feels like I'm perched way too high.

You are perched higher because your BB is probably higher.

Try setting the bike up as you would an mtb, with a lower saddle height, if you are planning on racing cx.

Otherwise, sure, put a dropper-post on there; why not? Maybe throw some flat bars on as well... Syncros used to make a suspension stem, back in the hard-riding days before suspension forks. Just have fun with it.

I'm also 6'4". That puts my cg considerably higher than my front axle when I'm going down steep hills. Ryan Trebon, another long legged rider has been talking up dropper posts on 'cross bikes lately.
