The time and budget finally aligned to get my CSi into the 21st century - updated from Shimagnolo 8 speed. 1996 frame, built for me with these updates:

Chorus 11 Cassette, RD, FD, Levers, Chain
White Ind Cranks and SQUARE TAPER BB! (52/38)
White Ind. 11 sp rear hub
Record 1" threaded headset - surprised to find this as well, but I suppose they still make them for the track

Other older / recycled bits
Mavic GL330 rims
Cinelli Oyster Stem
Cinelli Criterium 64 bars
Some old Shimano SPD pedal
Ultegra brakes - hey they look good and they're small
Veloflex Servizio Course tires - probably near the end of their life
Terry Fly Ti Saddle

I just couldn't see a Chorus carbon crank on that frame - so I was VERY happy to find out about the White Industries cranks.

Who else has an updated vintage Serotta out there?

Gorgeous. Those WI cranks really make it stand out.

I'd agree... great idea for a separate thread... if this one doesn't have legs.

Very nicely done. I really dig fade paint jobs and that's a great one.

Just for you OP...

If you look closely at the front rim it's a red label Mavic GL330 - it must be 30+ years old. The rear, unfortunately is a pink label GL330.
