Well, there goes pretty much my last reason to give a crap about the Tour this year.

***? This super blows. I wonder what the deal is. There is no competitor i know of with patent/IP to be infringed upon , and I can’t imagine Velogames is making much money (if any) that should be going somewhere else. Weird.

The Tour organization just launched its own fantasy league. I assume this is who came after him. I can see that they would have a good case since they have the rights to the name of the event (obviously) and its image, and I can see why it wouldn't be worth the time/expense for him to fight it, when this was essentially a labor of love (with a little ad revenue that probably just covered costs) for George...

Yeah, if the Tour has an officially licensed league and they want Velogames gone, there’s really nothing else for George to do. Total bummer. I’ve long loved Velogames and enjoyed creating teams for events beyond the TdF.
