Where can I get campy freehub body for Mavic wheels?

How hard is it to switch campy / shimano freehub bodies around? (never done it before, never owned a set of Mavic wheels before...)

Any Mavic dealer should have one or be able to get you one. It takes about five minutes to swap it over.

Of course this only applies to recent Mavic wheels, it may be tough to get parts for some really old wheels.
