Thanks to the generous donations to my GoFundMe (https://www.gofundme.com/mountain-bike-legacy-project) page, I have paid the rent on the space and moved the Mountain Bike Archive into the Marin Museum of Bicycling, which also houses the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame.

I am trying to be frugal with my funding, so I wonder whether any NorCal mountain bikers have any old computer gear lying around. I'm interested specifically in a tower computer that might have been put aside because it isn't portable. Other things I will need but will probably have to purchase, a scanner with 11" x 17" capacity, a terabyte external HD and possibly a large monitor.

I am also looking for a few volunteers who want to pore over 35 year old documents and scan them.

Here are some samples of the material in the collection.

Race results from the 1986 Plumline (http://sonic.net/~ckelly/Seekay/ckimages/plumline.pdf) race in which Cindy Whitehead won without a saddle.
