Anyone have their bike powder coated in the Bay Area?

I have an aluminum cross frame and carbon forks that I want to powder coat. I've heard you need to have low temperature powder coating for aluminum (high temp risks weakening the aluminum).

Know and bike friendly shops?

I went to maas brothers powder coating in Livermore a couple of years ago. They did a really good job stripping and coating it. Much better than what I got done here in Los Angeles. It was $175 for strip and paint for just the frame.

*apparently I dont know how to upload high quality photos. I promise it looks decent https://www.pedalroom.com/bike/rigi-spaziale-pista-24726

Jeremy Sycip, who used to do powder himself, is using West Coast Powder Coating in South San Francisco. They do a great job!

Weigh this against epoxy enamel for the right decision.

I've been using Reliable Powder coating in San Leandro for years for stuff (near Kaiser Hosp off the 880). They are much less expensive than Maas Brothers in Livermore.

It should also be noted that carbon fiber cannot be powder coated, so you'll have to do something else for the fork.
