Tires and tight clearances ?
In many questions about frames and fork the question of how big a tire will fit is asked
What is the down side to Tires with tight clearances ?
I can see wheel getting out of true while riding and rubbing frame or fork
and making a call for a ride home needed.
Would small rocks carry up and jamb causing a fast slowing of speed?
I haven't had problems yet on the few bicycles I own with tight clearances ?
What else could happen?
I know for fenders stones can carry up ad jamb between fender and tire Causing fenders to crumple and a very fast decrease of speed New fenders come with holders that release the stays in case above happens
