Hey all, I'll be visiting my wife's family later this week in Barcelona, Catalonia, and bringing my couplered bike. We'll have five days in the city, then we'll go up to a small village near Palamos. I've already done Collserola too many times, and I've never ridden up NorthEast. Can someone recommend specific rides, ideally with links? I'll be bringing the Garmin and would love to load up some 1-4 hour rides and try them out! Also, if anyone's going to be there and wants to go on a ride.....

Scott have you seen this site? I got a good route from it on my last trip. Worth a look at least.

Wikiloc is a great app that many cyclist use here in spain. You can filter down different routes by location. I just did a quick check and the lloret de mar - tossa de mar - puntabrava seems to be a nice route. Have fun in Catalonia! If you were to come closer to tarragona i’d show you some amazing cycling routes around here!

a friend of a friend runs that ourgirona.com. some great routes in there and it's only a little over an hour train ride from barcelona.

Here's a quick ride I did when i was out there. there's a few gravel sections.

We mostly rode in Girona so I have a lot of routes - some similar to that site.
