Hi. Just wondering. We are here working in Idaho Falls for the next two weeks. Where are good places to go over the weekend. Thanks.

I’d do Tetons first, but if you have another day/weekend, Craters of the Moon NM is pretty interesting

Only 200 miles to Bozeman, if you need a new bike...

Thanks Louis. Good idea. If I were to buy a new bike in Bozeman, I would have immediate family problems.

I believe I will just go sight seeing.

Pro Tip:its pretty easy to talk the rental car person at the airport into giving you a free upgrade. They have nice cars there that go sitting around.

Thanks Joostx. Good idea. I have a small suv, but everyone should consider that when renting a car from an airport.

The snake below Jackson Hole has amazing Class III. West table to sheep gulch. http://www.riverbrain.com/run/show/17
There are a number of guiding companies. 15k cfs is a great level. Idaho's snowpack is awesome. The southern rockies have dismal runoff. I used to guide on the snake river. It is a fun stretch.

If you are into fly fishing. Some of the most popular/famous stretches are also in your backyard.

Agree about Jackson Hole/Targhee. Grand Targhee has lifts for sightseeing or biking. There is a playhouse in JH, if you're into that. Lots of pilots there that can fly you around and see the Tetons up close. Maybe even fly by Harrison Ford's place.

We went to Yellowstone Park. Saw lots of bison and thermal stuff. Yellowstone Falls was awesome. I took lots of pics but was not successful in attaching them here. Saw signs for Bozeman but did not go there. Anyway, Yellowstone Park is highly recommended. Thanks all for your advice.
