Cleat Replacement?

How often do you replace your cleats? I ask because fro the last couple of weeks I've developed a very sore right calf after about 25 miles. Today on a metric century one of my riding buddys noticed that my right leg was "kicking out" as I pedaled. It has not done this in the past. I've got 5k+ miles on Speedplay X2's and have noticed myself that my right foot seems toroll to the right (didn't used to do that). What do you think, replace the cleats or look elsewhere? Thanks

Edit: I think I answered my own ? Speedplay recommens replacing cleats every 5000 miles.

I find I have to keep an eye on my cleats or they rotate on the bottom of my shoes. This usually results in really torqued & sore knees and also a funny ride position.

So I would check your cleat position and adjust if needed.
