Just wanted to give a shout out to the gentleman on the C50 'Nago who was nice enough to give me a spare co2 cartridge when I was caught without my pump this morning. You, my friend, rock.

Glad we're a community that takes care of each other. Pay it forward!

I now keep a tube in my car after a guy stopped to help me with a new tube after a triple flat ride. Offered to pay he said repay the favour.
One day I'll be able to pay him back. But maybe this not.

It's what you're supposed to do. I've helped many people out, especially when I use the local rail trail (MUT) as a cut through. Only issue I run into is when their tubes use schrader valves.

I carry one of these in my bag on the commuter, along with a frame pump and a couple of patched tubes that are easy to give away.

I've also recently added a 15mm peanut butter wrench after I tried in vain to help someone with a clunker with bolt on wheels. If people don't ride much, and their monthly adventure on the MUT turns into a death march back home or to their car, well-- it's not good and might mean that person doesn't try again.
